Les Miserables Shoujo Cosette
Being a single mother is hard in early 19th Century France. When young Cosette was traveling with her mother trying to find a job and a place to live, they were always shunned away because very few employers hire single mothers. When she is promised with the prosperity of working in the big city, Cosette is separated from her mother in the hopes a caretaker will watch over her while her mother earns some money. Yes, thank you in advance for picking this project up. While I do enjoy the occasional preteen piloting giant robots and earth-shattering power fights, this is a beautiful series that will make me pick up the 1200-page unabridged version of this novel again. Now perhaps I won’t have to watch the RAWs and ad-lib from what I remember in the novel. lol
You can always have Shinkun as your companion while you read the novel. He seems to be an avid fanatic of the novel as well.

I’m very happy that you guys are subbing this. This is one of my all-time favorite World Masterpiece Theater titles (next to Dog of Flanders, my number one). Is episode 25 gonna be out soon? I REALLY want to see more of this!
I watched this series up to maybe episode 8-12 about 2 years ago. Something like that. I just remember the last episode I saw left me craving for more, but no matter where I went, I couldn’t find the other episodes subbed (Heck, couldn’t even find RAW’s.). Well, I didn’t give up for a few months. I’d occasionally google it to see if anything new came up, and nope. D: I have to say, this is one of my all time favorite animes. And yes, this got me interested in the musical and the book. And… I just want to say, I’m EXTREMELY happy that you guys are translating it. ._. I’ve waited for a really long time, but I’ve never really forgotten the series. Even if I know a few huge spoilers, I still want to see more. D: SO, MY POINT IS : THANK YOU. xD Really. ;_; -sob- I’m just a sucker for stories like this, and I never find any animes close enough to this. D:

We actually had this problem a while back, (which we talk and redid alot stuff) but we fixed it so it’s either you have to update your codecs, or it could be something else. They did update alot of stuff these last few months. Including a new mp4 container muxer. But thanks for watching our releases. ^^
I’m really interested in this so I am trying to figure out how to approach it, since watcing in order from earliest seems important. http://www.animesuki.com/series.php/957.html says that Ureshii and Y-F did a batch for 1-3 so that seems like a nice start.
It looks like Delicious had done 1-6, and Formula did 1-7.
Since you guys start with 8, it’s a wild guess on my part, but are you following up after Formula’s work?
Right now I’m about 1/4 done the 1-3 batch, I wonder if I should put that on hold since it isn’t going fast and try Formula’s torrents since that would provide consistency leading up until your work on episode 8/9/10?
After that the next is 19 but it said Aoi did 13/15/18 though 18 seems dead much like 20-23 and your 19 doesn’t even show up dead on the tracker… and I wonder if 11-12 or 14/16-17 are about,…
We’re gonna go back and do 2-7 and then make a batch of everything. We might do one of what we all done so far too. Check Aoi’s IRC channel for past releases as well.

Hi! I’ve successfully downloaded many of the latest torrent files and gotten them to work. THANK YOU SO MUCH! I ADORE Les Miserables, and having played Eponine last spring, this series touches my heart in particular whenever her or Marius shows up. ;D
However, I’m concerned that episodes 8,9, 19-25, 27 and 28′s links give me a “404 – Not Found” page, and won’t download the torrents. Do these pages need to be updated, or is there something wrong going on with my browser?
I would be forever indebted if you could help me out with this problem! Anyway, thanks for all you do, and for the updates!

The tracker that hosted those links no longer exists (as we know it). However, we will be assembling a batch torrent soon after we finish (and hopefully that should be soon) and that will cover all the episodes in question.

I’d like to thank you guys (and Licca Subs obviously) soooooooo much for giving this wonderful anime a proper subbing job well done! You guys are awesome for finally giving a full translation of it the light of day! I’m too grateful!
By the way, I don’t mean to put any pressure on you guys since you’re working on a ton of other anime, but I think I found a suggestion that you guys might like. The anime’s called The Dog of Flanders: My Patrasche, and it’s a 1992-93 remake of the 1975 anime, the former which is EVEN MORE under appreciated than the other! You can find RAW episodes of it on Veoh (since they’re the only place that Japanese episodes can be found anyhow). Would you guys like to sub it once you have time? If not, I apologize for asking and that’s fine, but I’d be happy if you at least thought about it. I’m a HUGE Dog of Flanders fan and I’ve love for this anime to finally see the light of day…if you guys are interested or curious, of course.
