This release is dedicated to the extremely rare few who put up with us every week. Either the word patience is nearly extinct on the internet, or the people who believe in self-entitlement have multiplied a thousandfold.

On a day when the rest of the internet is whining up a storm, thank you for once again giving us work you did for free. You guys rock.

  6. Red says:

Not that I’m ungrateful since you’re the only ones subbing this anyway, but waiting a week for subtitles is very uncommon in this day and age with speedsubbers and professional simulcasts running amok so it makes sense that people would get annoyed. It’s easier to never have something than to have it and lose it.

Still, thanks for the release. I look forward to more.

I’d get the sentiment more if Wasurenai and KiteSeekers were actually intent on speedsubbing the show, like other groups and simulcasts out there. Which we’re not; we’re quality subbers who put real life first, and I believe Wasurenai has been around in the community long enough to make that relatively clear, especially for the same people who also waited for, and downloaded the first season of, Milky Holmes from us. Take a look at MMPPP, Yumeiro and completed projects like 11eyes and Les Mis, whose releases have spanned upwards of months between episodes. We do the fastest we can, whenever we can, even if it doesn’t look like it.

I could speed up the process as fast as I did Anyamal, though that would mean I’d fail most of the classes I’m in right now. I did give several warnings already that I’d be entering university this year, along with “future releases will be somewhat staggered” notices in both posts of episode 1. I’d get another translator in my place when I get too busy in the upcoming weeks, but unfortunately there isn’t anyone else out there who is as interested in the series. Not that that’s any of our viewers’ fault, of course.

Don’t get me wrong; I’m frustrated that it took this long too. And I can’t even guarantee that the next episode will fare any better; already I’ve got tests to review for and essays to write soon after this Thursday’s episode airs. I love this show too much to drop it even at the busiest time of my life, and still I see people keep spouting out selfish bullshit like “omfg slowasses” “hurry the fuck up” “wtf you haven’t released yet” that I, or this group itself, have already given fair warning and reason for. But I don’t retort. At least not directly. I come home after a long day, see the complaints on IRC, the site, or chatbox, but don’t say anything anymore. That’s because I know that you’re right on one thing – today’s anime viewers have been born into this community silver spoon-fed by today’s instant-noodles simulcasts and 1-2-3-done speedsubbers. And who can blame them? Trolls will be trolls, whiners will be whiners, illiterate people who can’t read blog posts will stay themselves, and so on and so forth, just like it always has. So please don’t be surprised if I feel the need to vent my frustrations somewhere, if only indirectly.

To those who did have the patience to wait for our subs, I thank you again; it’s the best form of support I could possibly hope to ask for.

Oh, I am one of the patient ones, and am also quite understanding. Though instead of self-entitlement, I ask as to the current state of progress to satisfy my curiosity. X) You don’t need to worry about me.

  11. andrea says:

thank you for the release! i was anticipating the release, though i didn’t complain because school really is hell. keep up the nice work!

  12. Nate says:

I will admit that I was a little frustrated by how long it took to see this episode, especially when seeing other shows come out on the same day. I understand the reason behind it though, life happens and as a sophomore at a university myself, I know that finding time for anything can really suck. Even if it does take a while, you’re giving us subs for this great show that we otherwise wouldn’t be able to see. Thanks a lot for your hard work, I look forward to future releases, and good luck with all of your classes!

  13. Mon-tan says:

  16. Nina says:

I understand now how you feel with your own lives. I always ask myself: ”Why do those fansubbers have the episodes in one day?”
Thanks a lot for subbing it anyways ^^. Who cares if you are one week behind?

  17. Julio says:

You guys should study in Brazil, my college vacation goes from early december to march…
